Why email continuity matters
Email downtime hurts business. Outages can mean missed communications, lost revenue, and poor customer experiences. With more employees working remotely, constant email access is critical. Businesses need a solution that guarantees users can send, receive, and respond to email—even when their infrastructure is offline.

How it works
OpenText Core Email Continuity is automatically provisioned through a central portal and runs in the background until it’s needed. When your primary mail server goes down, email messages are spooled at the spam filter, and users are redirected to a secure web portal or can access messages through Outlook using POP or IMAP. From there, they can read, reply, forward, and compose messages as usual. Once service is restored, all email activity is automatically synced back to the primary system, ensuring a seamless experience and preserving message continuity.
